I began my career in public accounting over 30 years ago in the tax department, where I developed a solid foundation in tax law and compliance. While that experience gave me valuable technical expertise, everything changed once I began working directly with small business owners.
I quickly realized they needed more than just someone to file their tax returns. They needed advice tailored to their unique situations. As I got to know their industries and the challenges they faced, I became a more well-rounded advisor - not just in tax and accounting, but in business strategy and decision- making. That's when I found my true passion.
I've seen firsthand how critical it is to have your accounting and taxes in order from the start. Without that foundation, even the most promising ideas can struggle to survive.
